We supply all of the electrical energy used in our business from renewable energy sources.
In the past, it was out of question to prevent carbon emissions with the electrical energy supply we have realized.
As of 2021, we have obtained the electrical energy used in our business from renewable energy sources with the I-REC certificate and zeroed the carbon emissions from electrical energy.
In our business, we produce electrical energy from renewable energy sources with the solar energy system. With the 2.26 MW solar energy system on the roof of our facility, we reduce the carbon emissions of 1,112,000 kg per year and save 2,706 trees to the nature.
We created a Toyotetsu Forest with 700 trees in 2019 and 10,000 trees in 2022.
Our entire fleet of company vehicles consists of hybrid vehicles; We aim to transform these vehicles with electric vehicles in the future.
As Toyotetsu Turkey, we have tried to minimize our energy consumption with the Energy
Kaizens we have made since our establishment. In 2022, we balanced the carbon
emissions from electrical energy with the I-REC certificate, and the carbon emissions from
natural gas and other factors by planting 10,000 trees. In line with these efforts, we aim
to be carbon neutral in 2023.
